Search Tips

The primary WEBAuto Search ( Home page) searches on the Year, Make, Model, Category, Body, Engine and vehicle Registration Number fields, or any combination of these.

The Search facility will return a match for a whole word or part of a word. For example, entering Co will return Corolla's, Commodore's and Cortina's, or entering just F will return Ford's and Ferrari's, etc.

To search on a text string, for example 4 door use an underscore ( _ ) instead of a space, so to search for 4 door enter 4_door, or for 6 cylinder enter 6_cylinder.

The more search terms that you enter the more specific your search is, and therefore, the fewer results that are displayed. If you do not get enough results try removing one or more search terms. If you do not get any results, check your spelling.

You can sort the search results by any of the columns by clicking once on the column heading. Clicking on the column heading a second time will display the results in the reverse order.

If you are getting too many results displayed, try adding another search term.
